We have in stock back issues of Spin off, Interweave knits, Knitters and Piecework. (I mean back because they go back into the 80's)I just read this new magazine called Living Crafts (see http://www.livingcrafts.com/).
Knitting daily has had some interesting articles recently. They also recently posted a utube of how to properly do a "nupp". Sandy's latest article gave some tips on blocking. In order to
get patterns, you must sign up for the newsletter. I believe the nupp utube is from the knitting daily tv show, so don't forget to check that out too.
http://www.nashuaknits.com/Signup.html If you sign up they send you some free patterns and then a newsletter. Newsletters are always good for inspiration. The first pattern they sent me for mohair mittens looks very interesting. The Nashua Handknits Magazine, Premiere Issue that I have here in the store offers no less than 26 new designs for the Fall and Winter seasons by Kristin Nicholas, Susan Mills, Gayle Bunn, Barbara Khouri, Melissa Mitchell, Sandi Rosner, Robin Melanson,Cathy Payson, Deborah Newton, Kathy Zimmerman and Jill Gutman Schoenfuss!
There are some really fun projects for felt and knit. I have back issues in stock in the store.
Knitting universe has a six steps to sock success and playful pairs pattern available for download. I still like some of the sock patterns I have to sell better, but this download has some nice pictures that may help you understand the archictecture of a sock. http://www.knittinguniverse.com/flash/DownloadsList.php?CategoryID=33
On this website, you can find link to some other fun patterns as well as the sock.
