Addi Lace goes from size 000 to size 11 now.  Smallest cable length is 24" due to the length of the needle. The new lace sizes 2.75mm (about a US 1.5) . These have been requested and Skacel now makes them.
opal socks "blues" series 6 ply. 6ply opal and austermann stepsock yarn.  These are skeined up at 150g instead of the usual 100g. They are thicker than the usual sock yarn, but with the same great color patterning. These would be great for children sweaters as well as socks.
Harry Potter sock yarn from Opal joins hunderwasser and rainforest colors still in stock.

just arrived from Punta del Este http://www.puntayarns.com/.  You will really want to touch this stuff. They have some patterns on their website that can give you some ideas on how much you need for projects.

New alpaca yarn came in. I actually got the meet the animals of the one.  Maynard and Sinjin (a lovely black and brown tweed) is a very soft yarn in a beautiful color.

The new line from Marianne Isager and Helga Isager came today! This is a brand new line here in the states and Yarnia is one of the first stores to carry it. I have the alpaca2 and wool1 (this was previously called spinni) plus the Isager 2 fall 08 book and the Amimono fall 08 book. I will soon have in the Hojlandgarn (or Highland wool for us english speakers). Marianne's patterns have an interesting texture and achitecture and the yarn is lovely to work with.

I found this beautiful yarn called Niji that was a beautiful blend of cashmere, bison and bamboo from a small mill called Fibre Isle
International. I just found out that this Niji yarn will be distributed this fall by Louet as Mooi. It was the hit of the columbus TNNA trade show 2008.

56 colors of Harrisville Designs (yarn made in the USA) in the shetland weight. I already had many colors of it in the highland (18st/4in) weight.
This yarn and the Jamieson that I have in stock would make a great pair of
the Green autumn mittens on the current vogue knitting cover. (BTW a
correction for this pattern is at http://www.vogueknitting.com/images/errata/2008/vf08_3cthumb.pdf%29.  Don;t forget to check publishing and magazine web sites for errata before beginning your projects.

the store.  Svale (pronounced savalah) from Dale of Norway. This is a beautiful cotton blend. Also in the box were 7 or 8 different patterns books. The books have patterns, for men, women, children, babies and the hard to
find junior range.
